A happy man is that who shall read here!
Thou may'st as well abandon all suspicions;
Thy cowardice had better be dead and buried deep,
For thou will behold mysterious stories of people
who were born and died in Florence.
Yet if thou art cowardly,
and dare not read,
Do not talk about us - - just look and pass
